6am and I'm headed outside. Need to scout out how I'm going to lead a big truck through my plantings to get to the
propane tank area. Plus I have to put boards up on the driveway edge, just finished fixing the cracks too.
simply resigned to fact this big truck with a boom is going to bust up something. As long as I keep him off my septic tank
I'll be happy

odd thought, I wonder how David's four inches of rain did near the lava flows. Must have been pretty steamy around there...

48 and a nice wet dew, but we are dry here, too, otherwise. Topping out at 79.

Need to mow and bush hog once the dew is mostly dry, but before it gets too hot and dry. Was too windy yesterday to cut, but hand dug another FEL full of sand at the bridge to place on the low spot in the path. Also plan to clean the porches but likely will not power wash since the pollen and mowing dust still coming. My wife was weeding the flower bed next to the porch, and found a rabbit nest 3 feet from the step that we use a dozen times a day. Now I know why I kept seeing a baby rabbit on that side of the house last week and why Coco showed so much interest.

Are any of you with wild cherry trees seeing a lot of green leaves falling now? I've noticed it here and along the road to town. They are also flowering now, but many leaves are on the ground. Maybe the late freeze we had last Monday.

Drew my legs have not seen the sun since around 2005 or so yet they still come. Tilley hats are great wear one every day with zinc oxide on face spf 70 on arms and neck rest is covered. My biggest one to date on back as well about 6 inches long but some used for skin graft. Tell your fireman friend he is not invincible and needs protection now. I have been lucky in the fact so far all basil cell so many I'm losing count

When I went to doctor last week. One of the questions asked by the nurse was if i used Sunblock. My reply was no. Then I added my $.02. I look for California to be listing Sunblock as a carcinogen in the future.

I have a full head of hair and wear a wide brim hat when out in the sun. Also wear long sleeve shirts when out in the sun year around.
I sure would be wearing all the protection I could get on if I had fair/light skin.

Ron full head of hair here too but still had 2 in my head. I do tan as well. Maybe the old farmers who wore long sleeves and straw hats years ago were on to something
