I started off my day with a very depressing day at the arthritis doc, who I like and have gotten close to.
And for once and sadly way more depressing for the doctor, am guessing around 60.
He got a call a few months back saying his perfectly fit 6 foot plus 250 pound civil architect 32 year old son was DOA from a heart arrhythmia.
Worked out three to five times a week, took one of those power drinks. His Father said he kept warning his son to be careful with them.
So his son's body is full of caffeine, and this boost juice, not steroids, but something that clearly affected his son's heart. Dead on the living room couch with the glass of
work out juice next to him. The doctor was crushed, his closest of three sons, his best buddy...and now three month's later he was still a walking wreck, clearly suffering
from depression. Uh Doc, you should see a Doc...He said he let his son use his Amazon account to order the boost juice and it's clear he is continuing to punish himself.
I gave him a hug.
Most of those drinks are likely to be safe if you are in perfect health, but who knows if they are?
