Educate me on box blade size for uses

I'll be buying or building a new box blade soon. I have a 60hp 4wd tractor that weighs roughly 8k-8.5k lbs with loader attached. I'm going with a stout design and need to know to go with a 7' or 8' blade. Tractor is 6' wide and my uses will be cutting swales, ditches, grading the drive, fields, yard (new grounds) and of course all the other uses for it. I've read where people have a slight controversy with going to wide for cutting swales or ditches, but I do like the idea of 8' for grading the drive that will loop the property totalling at least 4000 feet, haven't measured exact yet.

Ideas and opinions

You do not say if the tractor is equipped with hydraulic top and tilt...?

If not it won't take long to realize they are paramount for efficient box blade work...

Not yet, but very soon! Ran a tractor with it not long ago and that's the hot ticket with any ground engagement implement I learned quick.

I have a similar question. I own a Kioti DK 5010HS its width is 62.8". Should I go with a 5.5' or 6' box. Mostly moving clay, topsoil, and about a 280' driveway 16' wide. I also need to cut a couple ditches in clay both about 400' long.

Not aware of a 5.5' BB but use the 6' BB as it covers tire tracks.

I use a heavy 7' on my Kubota which is 7.5' wide and on my Ford which is 6.5' wide. Works fine on both.

I have found some like on EA brand. But, I am going with a 6'
