Does anyone know where I can buy this 1/8" hairpin clip?

It is used to retain the stabiliizer bar pin on some Kubota 3 pt hitches.

My dealer claims the parts catalog says "obtain locally". The type he gives me does not have the long leg which makes it much easier to line up with the pin hole. I haven't been able to find then anywhere.

Around here most hardware stores have them...look where they keep things like cotter pins and woodruff keys etc.,etc...

Agree, the long leg is rather an oddball item.

I replaced all my hairpins with simple cotter pins. I mean - really - how often do you remove the lower arms on your 3-point or change the attachment points on your 3-point system.

I remove the stabilizer pins every time I swap 3 pt implements to adjust for variation in width. I gave up on quick hitch systems due to implement compatibility. Some are cat 1, some are cat 2 and the pin width varies. I find the Kubota telescopic drag links are a great alternative. Consequently, I use these pins frequently. Due to their location, they need to be inserted by feel and the long pin extension makes it easier to find the hole.

I'm almost sure this was brought up a while ago. Think the guy did find them. Think he even had problems getting them from The dealer. The bottom leg is longer to help it start in the hole easier. I searched around the forum but be darn if I can find it.
