Thank you Mark. It all looks great. Love the light guards. Thanks for the business. We started cutting the Sure Footers today on our new Tracker CNC plasma table. ddc4d

HEY PAUL! Welcome back! We missed you A LOT, and I hope you are doing well.

Love your posts - The one about the little tiny nut coming loose on the linkage of the BX25 really helped me a lot. I was able to re-tighten it, and now my go pedal works properly again.

Hope we hear a lot more from you...

The Battery Tender can be plugged into the standard existing cigarette lighter receptacle to charge the tractor through it if it's a constant-on like most automobiles.

That's the way I keep my (toy) cars (original Shelbys, BOSS 302 cars, 428CJ cars, Pantera, Viper, etc) charged. Easy Peezy.

Hardly noticed were the bucket hooks to go along with the Tooth Bar 032.JPG038.JPG084.JPG

Thanks. So happy to hear that tech tip helped you out.that ol nut is in a bad spot but it’s doable. Doing well thanks. We have a rep here this week from your neck of the woods. We just put in a new CNC plasma table and they flew him in to do the set up and train us on the unit. We are finally starting to produce our tractor mods and get them on the market. Their isa lot to do but we are enjoying it. Great hearing from you. I will try harder to make a better efforts to stop in more. Happy tractoring.

I don't have pictures, but I just got my light protectors from Paul, I've also done Bro Tek fan protectors along with wheel spacers. I also put a after market grill protector with trailer hitch as my BX2200 didn't come stock with a grill protector got it from Fab Works. Also have stabilizers from Hodge. Have wheel weights. I am going to add a step.

Oldballs, where did you get your tooth at from? With the rocks we have here, that would probably be the best for any digging. Probably work better than than a Piranha bar, just too many rocks here for anything built lightly.

IMO, the Piranha Tooth Bar is not built lightly. 1/2in hardened steel. I ram mine into rocky soil routinely and it is still looking great! And it can scrape up and smooth but big teeth cannot.

Com'n guys... post pics of your mods!

NewfieDan, I bought the W. R. Long "Flat Tooth Bar" from Iowa Farm Equipment in 2010. WR Long does not sell direct, and this was the closest dealer that I could find. The "Flat" tooth bar has the solid bar on the back side of the bucket which makes "back dragging" go better.

At the time I was working in piles of large rocks and dirt that had settled for several years. I found the teeth do a better job at digging into such.
The Piranha Tooth Bar I have used for many things too, especially in small root entangled earth.

Cheers,
Mike

My mods are in my signature block. Here's another great mod, not sure why Kubota doesn't provide good tie down points. These are representative pictures, not my actual tractor/trailer. Paul S., these are something you could knock out on your new table and wouldn't be too labor intensive to produce. ;)

For those of you who do not like tossing money out windows, you can modify your OEM HST fan skid with some scrap steel and a few hours time to protect the plastic fan. You could easily go a bit further than I did and build a box to drop down and wrap under the HST filter if you are so inclined. This is a free modification that many who can not weld will spend $300 to replicate. Spray bomb is with bed liner when your done and it looks like a factory part.

While the welder is out, go to Amazon and get weld on 3/8" chain hooks and weld on d-rings and toss them on your loader. The d-rings work great with a 2" strap, the chain hooks work great for... well... chain! And it provides a front chain-down location for trailering.

All are cheap and easy if you have a hot mettle glue gun (welder).

Very nice HST fan mod, Great job! I'm not certain why Kubota doesn't protect the fan better.

For me it was easier to just spend the $160 on the BXpanded plate and have the dealer install it prior to delivery than fab one, plus I purchased my tractor in December and didn't have a convenient place to work on it in heated comfort with the garage full of other toys.

take care
