I notice a LOT of misused words on forums. Some of it may be from people posting from their phones. I have had a post or two come out not looking like what I thought I typed.

On some phones there is a setting in the text correction/spell check that may enter a highlighted suggestion if you touch the space bar. In my MOTO it was under Languages and Input / Virtual Keyboard / Gboard / Text Correction /Auto-correction. Maybe different on different phones.

'roof 6' and 'splat' were the instructor's name for those keystrokes when she couldn't remember their technical names. Very confusing, before we learned her special language.

There are some that try to post useful info and a bunch more that just want to be antagonistic.
