24 and going to a high of 36. Wind E 15 mph. 40% chance of flurries or rain showers.

We got about 3/4" of snow late yesterday, just enough to be a pita.

I've got nothing planned for today.

I got email from my supplier for the backhoe yesterday.
You are looking at $9,650.00 + $1,254.50 HST = $10,904.50 total for the backhoe KB2475 with subframe, 16'' bucket, dirt pads & mechanical thumb. That is the installed price.
Haulage from and back to my place is an extra $600.oo. I will get that and a full service (change all fluids and filters) put on a different invoice and pay him in cash when the tractor gets back here.

I've got nothing to do today, tomorrow is the dump run and pick up a parcel in town.

Have a good day all

There is another storm lurking for this weekend but probably no further north than southern New Jersey if that far, may go out to sea or may hammer SW Va. too early to tell. The set up is right for big snow just right pieces have to fall into place

My BP was anywhere from 140-160 x 80-90 all the time on meds before losing the weight. I’m not tall and skinny, I’m about 5’8”, down from almost 5’10” when I was young, and I weigh 224 this morning. I’m obese by all the charts, I have a large chest and as the Orthapedic doc says, the biggest dam# bones he ever saw. Having said that, I’m not skinny, never was, likely never will be. Drew can attest to that.
My best friend is 5’7” and weighs 155, constantly fights his BP and cholesterol.

Maybe I should work on the blood pressure. 5'9". Just have a big belly. Runs in the family.

I never use the Sun roof and did not want one but I also wanted the very needed tinted windows and none came without the sunroof. I ended up putting a reflective shield up there to keep the roof cooler.

That's another option, or feature, I would not want. I've always said I'd pay more for a car without a hole in the roof than I'd pay for one with a hole in the roof. But that was something the elder of our two daughters just had to have on the last new car she got.:confused3:

I liked the heated seat in the Legacy we had. Wife is always to hot and I am to cold so I just turn on my heated seat in winter and we were both happy. Ed

My wife and I are the exact opposite.

My car does not have remote start. A feature I wish it had. Wife's car has it and she never uses it. Maybe I should change cars with her.

Our car has that feature. I checked once to see if it worked; it did. And if I wanted to use it, I'd probably have the get the manual out and read again to see how to do it.

Bird my F250 has a sunroof only opened it twice in two years. When we had dogs and took them with us used it a lot more for ventilation to help keep dog cool in the winter. Seat heater came in very handy I never got cold and dog never got hot

Itç—´ a commercial venture with paid endorsers and no independent verification that any of it works.

This is not supplements it's small plant based meals.
I don't do diets without research backing them. There has been an independent verification.

The study consisted of 100 people and was conducted at the University of Southern California Longevity Institute and Diabetes and Obesity Research Institute, and sponsored by the National Cancer Institutes (NCI) and National Institute on Aging (NIA) of the National Institute of Health (NIH). Fasting-mimicking diet and markers/risk factors for aging, diabetes, cancer, and cardiovascular disease | Science Translational Medicine "

I agree with you on diet research and health. I would like to see hundreds of studies involving thousands of people.

This diet requires a doctor's approval now in it's early stages.

There are more studies being conducted all over the world it is still early. The fact that a Plant based Cardiologist recommend it got me looking into it.

I will be watching for the results of more of the studies.

35°F and cloudy this morning, going up to 41° today.

We had some snow squalls blow through the area yesterday afternoon and evening. Weird event. When I walked out of work to my car, there were a few light flakes blowing around. By the time I was ready to back out of the parking space, it was coming down so hard that I couldn't see the traffic lights at the corner 500 feet away. I was in and out of those little squalls all the way home. Read some posts on Facebook from friends in Missouri north of I-70 who actually had some accumulation from it. We had light coverage on car tops and walkways. Nothing to show for it this morning. It's all gone.

Wife has heated leather seats in her Kia Sorento. My Soul has cloth seats, so no heat in them. Hers also cools. I like them. I'm not a big fan of leather seats, but the heat sure is nice in the cold months. As noted elsewhere, pretty nice on a bad back, too.

Good morning everyone. 32F and snow is falling; +1" so far. The NWS is still predicting 18" on their MA accumulation graphic for this area with this storm. I do not believe that the next weekend weather event will seriously impact NE.

Roy- Thanks for the tip. After my back starts to "complain" I realize that I forgot once again to spray the snow shovel. I did not even try to shovel that 7" of "falling slush" from the last snow storm.

My + thoughts, prayers, and wishes for all.

I hope that everyone has a decent day.

Good Morning!!!! 48F @ 7:00AM. A mix of clouds and sun. High 63F. Winds SSE at 5 to 10 mph.

Hope both you and the boy like his new doctor, Ed. The old one sounded like a real stinker.

I can't wait 'till you're busy as a one armed paperhanger trying to keep up with your harvest, Drew.

Also hope those in the northeast take it easy in trying to deal with all that heavy snow. It may tie things up for a few days, but that's nothing worth dying over.

I really liked the heated seats and steering wheel in the last car I had, just like I liked 'em on the only motorcycle I purchased new. But I hated the sunroof. Didn't like the sun shining through the roof into my eyes, and it made the roof so low I was always brushing my head on it. That made me slouch in the seat, then my back hurt. But like others have said, at the trim level needed to get the heaters, the sunroof was mandatory. Never again.

Very pleasant day yesterday weather wise, with sunshine and mild temperatures and wind. Used some Bondo to smooth up the Vanagon console, then gave it a nice thick coat of sanding primer. Then I changed the gooseneck like fittings around on the old motorcycle so there would be less reach to the handlebars; I'd put them on backwards a few weeks ago and hadn't noticed until I sat on it for the first time the other day. That meant undoing all the turn signal wiring and grip on one side, which was tedious but relatively straight forward. Using compressed air to float the grip off is a trick I learned years ago that still works like magic. Also got the clutch cable hooked up, but need to do some machining on the bolt that serves to adjust play at the back of the transmission. The bike didn't come with one, so I have to figure it out from the part it mates with.

Hope everyone enjoys their Hump Day!
