RNG, nice pictures, I haven’t been in Reno in about 46 years, beautiful city. I preferred Tahoe for the activities, but still loved Reno, and one of my favorite small towns, Carson City. We use to camp on North Lake.

Sadly, you probably wouldn't even recognize Reno today, Randy. Same with Carson City. Both have morphed from sleepy little towns they once were, with freeways, traffic, big box stores, and urban sprawl as far as the eye can see. I was very fortunate to hit Reno in mid morning and just breeze through to the east and Fernley where I picked up 95 Alt south. And even tiny little Fernley now has the most horribly signed roundabout traffic circle that always seems to shoot me off in the opposite direction of where I want to go. Not sure where you'd go to find the Reno/Carson City of forty years ago, but I'd sure like to try!

I understand, when I lived in Stockton, it was a sleepy town, even though there were 116000 people, great cruising scene, there and over to Lodi, Manteca, and little Rio Vista. I understand now it’s gang central.

Randy- We should not blame ourselves for getting older and more decrepit. Some of those meds "old folk" take messes with the muscles tendons. I take/took a couple.

I got those "powerful" Popeye arms (sans the "anchors") No matter what green vegetable I consume. I probably "earned" them.

If one starts living in fear and stops moving they start dying.

I do not see any posters here meeting those criteria.

Got to 77 today, shooting up to 50 tomorrow!
Got a C130 doing touch and goes, and STOL drills over at the airport, watched it from the deck before dark, I just heard it again. We get a lot of military aircraft practicing here.

Trump landed here summer 2016, but that was a 757, not a 747. We do get Orion’s, A10s doing mock attacks, and about 6 years ago, right after we moved, the Marines landed in choppers and captured the terminal building with carrier air support from an FA 18. That was cool.

I have seen the A10's and F-15's stationed near here do some amazing amazing piloting over this area and in nearby ravines that require concentration. They are all heroes and their families and friends supporting them are in my "book.".

Windy here. Temps dropping, was near 80° today, 40s tomorrow.

Had an after work bowling / food and drinks session. 1st time ive bowled in yrs. I am sore already.
Threw a strike the first time, never got another. Bowling balls sure have gotten heavier.

Up way too late. Got 1 new IP camera, works good.
