Fantastic pictures Ron. 13years and I bet you still didn't see / explore everything. The geological formations are very dramatic, varying in as close as 20-30 miles. Trip hopefully this August to Moab. Really want to go to Yellowstone, but Jay made me think about the caldera....my luck and it will blow while we're there..

Your right. We traveled from PNW down to Mexico. TX to CA and WY to WA. The best part was the people we met. Some of them are here on TBN.
The 2 pictures were taken about 15 miles from each other at Page, AZ.

Nice! So much easier than building. Will be a nice set up when you get the lights and power in. Congrats!

It’s 4’ longer than the one that burned. I test fitted the tractors. IMG_0149.JPG

Probably won’t go back to using it for anything much more than storage, I’ve got the garage set up for servicing everything and I don’t see the need to move it back.

Ron- Awesome pictures. Thanks for sharing :D There seems to be a wealth of resource information here for a road trip or going to HI.

At one point I actually started to read about RV's and then I looked out the window at my little 18' sailboat lawn ornament just sitting there. I could park an RV next to it.

Randy- Looks like it will meet your needs or more. Thanks for sharing.

For the disaster-minded this is a great link: RSOE EDIS - Emergency and Disaster Information Service

It's pretty up to date with real time calamities. I like how it tracks earth killing celestial objects and how all the world's calderas are overdue for their next "Big One."

We use to pan for gold on the north fork of the Stanislaus, down river from our campground. Tried the Sacramento also.

Up to 70 here and partly cloudy, loving this weather.

B75- That's . Thanks for sharing. That NW CONUS cold spell probably has resulted in a lot of "anomalies" and their new word- "over/underperforming" as a descriptor in the meteo-babble discussion out your way. I do not think this NW CONUS weather pattern is going away anytime soon. Things may be changing for the east CONUS early next month.

I love your station. My PWS is now down to the indoor data and the anemometer outside.

I need to get a barometer for my new station, other than that I’m loving it.

I have a storm glass, a container of some kind of gel stuff that changes transparency as a weather predictor, 2 digital, and one functional replica Hg sailing barometers hanging on the downstairs' walls and if in doubt and or for backup I have a handheld SkyMaster PWS.

I suspect that there may be a "problem" here

I now have to start researching out personal weather stations again. It appears that a lot of the posters here have all kinds of different PWS's.
