$13K is about right if it wasn't garaged and/or has any rust on undercarrage. No rust anywhere and always garaged easily adds 5k to 6k. $20k and up 7.3 trucks are usually crewcab.

not having 4 doors and a long bed is hurting the value IMO. I don't have a use for a short bed...

I have been looking for a 2000-2002 Ram 3500 for years (not apples to apples I know but), I have almost pulled the trigger several times but the issue becomes the cost people want. I know their is a ton a value in an older diesel, no emissions, cool factor, etc but at a point it makes no sense. It is still a 15 y/o truck that will have issues that need to be addressed and cant tow near (Legally) what the new ones can.

It’s a very tough market for older vehicles, you have to find someone that can see the value and has cash because KBB and NADA don’t.
I think you should keep it and I’m not trying to be a jerk. I think you have an awesome truck! These are just the issues I have run across trying to get my own awesome truck.

I went "fishing" on c/l last year for $17k, not a single call. (01- psd - 175k miles - no rust & garaged & original owner)
I just don't use it anymore and have a F450 also.

FWIW...
3-1/2 years ago I sold my F350 4x4 dually crew with 105K miles on it to a friend...
I wasn't looking to trade but didn't need it anymore...
It was an 03 with the last of the 7.3's...
The only reason I sold it to him is because he bought my old 30' fifth wheel camper that was in need of repairs...
He gave me more for it than what I thought it was worth and I knew he really wanted the truck..

With those miles it is a 20K plus truck...
I personally wouldn't sell it...

I guess the thing is they are suppose to be in demand, I see them listed high but I don稚 know what they really sell for.

I say keep it... but I'm a 7.3 superduty fan, as you can tell if you read my sig line. Body conditions play a big factor in value...

the old diesel command top dollar. i think 20+K would be a good starting point, BUT it need to be in tip top shape, no leaks, no rust, no faded paint, no major mods, nothing needed.

i play with the OBS fords and they also bring top dollar. i sold a 97 CCLB PSD with 254K and minor rust in the core support and a tiny tiny bubble over the rear wheel for 10K.
