Any Beagle Loving LS Tractor Owners out there?

Only time the boy gets sad is if I go to hunting camp without him.

He does not hunt, just keeps me company in camp and gets some good sniffing.

Wife says I cannot go without him now. He was a mess, whining, barking, running to every door anytime he heard a truck.

He does not act like that if I'm going to work or the store.

The girl dog could care less.

All I have to do is put my hat on and Bailey is ready to go. He is not good on car rides but he still wants to go and it doesn't matter where.

Well i'm not real familiar with beagles but we just bought a 50 acre place and it came with beagle! He was neglected but now he boumces aroumd like crazy. Happy as all get out. And i just bought an LS......I'll let you know if he gets sad....

Trophyduck, Please let me know if his tail droops or if he seems depressed when the amount of sunshine diminishes this Winter. Is he an inside dog and does he love his blanket? This is a shot of Bailey during a bout of depression.

I'll keep an eye out. He was living in an outdoor run all his life. Not sure how often or even if he was let out to run....he is now allowed to run around and spends the day in the back yard. He still stays outside though because he wouldn't know what to do inside (not house broken). He seems happy now. He moved real slow when we got him but now jumps around like a pup again. He i supposedly 16+ yrs old. Not sure how old is old for a beagle but he doesn't act it now. Sad thing is he is totally deaf.
Interesting about the light of day thing.....I'll watch for it.

I am certainly glad he is finally happy. Sad dogs depress me. I think beagles live 15 or so years and if he can be happy and run around now, that is a good thing.

Ours is pretty demanding but loveable and doesn't know he is a dog. He is 7 now and still likes to sleep in my lap.

All Poodle here but my XR4140h will be ordered this week. Are you in Alaska? We pop vitamin D like sweet tarts and get as much sun as possible. Dec 21 is a day of celebration because we are now gaining daylight!

Hahahaha Yes, we are in Alaska and also inhale as much D3 as possible. December 21st is the shortest day of the year but also is the darkest day of our marriage (Anniversary). This year we gave each other SAD Lights.

Be Happy! Get some Sun! Even if it is bounced off the snow.
