Bobcat CT 225 engine oil question?

Hi guys, oil change time, what do you use?
15-40, 5w-20, 5w-40 synthetic, or standard.
I use synthetic, in my cars.
Live in Illinois, so not real bad weather.

I use Rotella 15w40 but don't believe it is the only thing out there. Just had good success with it so keeping on keeping on.

Is that a synthetic?
I work at a municipality, maintenance uses standard 15-40, on all our diesels.
I just want the best to keep her running as long as I can! As we all do.

If you want synthetic, Rotella t6 5w40. It's what I use. The 15w40 is either synthetic blend or conventional. Can't remember.

I am sure the synthetic oils are a notch or two better than the conventional but at 72 years old I have never experienced an engine failure using the old stuff. I think the key is proper oil and filter changing intervals.

+1 on that Winston!
Been changing oil for dad since I was knee high! Lol.
Correct intervals is a must.
Still have a hard time with 5000 mile changes.
So used to 3000.
Plus they skip filters every other time.
Still have a hard time with that!
