I was a little concerned I wouldn't finish the framework today because of the forecasted rain, now it's great to realise that even with yesterday's late start, I don't need to do any more for a couple of weeks. If I send you Julie's mobile number, would you do me a little favour and give her the good news about the new schedule, before she gets back ?

We didn't have a clear connection on the call, but I think she said the "page a day" schedule sounds jolly good. She added, please order an extra pizza today so Max can have his own...but to please take your 28 gauge off her pillow.

Good morning.
Temp is 24 and going to a high of 37 with 30% chance of either rain or snow. Wind SSE 8 mph.
Update: our 30% chance of snow became 100%, we got another inch so now we have 2.5" in the ground.

I did get a couple of things done yesterday.
Greased the front end of my new lawn tractor and removed the battery.
Got the remotes sorted out for the block heaters (I need to get a new one on Monday).
Checked the batteries in both remotes (they are good).
Checked and topped off the oil in the Kioti.
Checked the antifreeze in both the Jeep and the Kioti. -50F in both. I have one of the el cheapo a-freeze testers.

Fired up the tractor for the first time this week...used it to bring a pallet of firewood up to the side porch. I still had to unload it by hand onto the rack since the pallet won't fit through the door, but this method avoided many wheelbarrow trips.

Went to a birthday party dinner for a former co-worker last night. Nice to see some folks I hadn't seen in years and meet some new ones. Plus the eggplant parmigiana was delicious. One lady talked about a neat entertainment place she went for a team-building event...where you are "locked" in a room with a group, and must solve riddles and puzzles, and search for clues to find the key to get out. You are given an hour...then another person talked about a glow in the dark indoors putt-putt place. Quite creative.

Coffee is done brewing. 31ｰ with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 36ｰ with snow, freezing rain and rain all day. Looks like a indoor day. Got leaves blown out of gardens and away from buildings yesterday. But picking them up may have wait a couple of days. Speed reducer for drill press got started. But could not find pulley and bearings. Ordered them on EBAY and Amazon. Will work on pulley shaft and bearing pockets today. Some NASCAR in afternoon.

Some of the weekend's chore were completed:
Suppressor is here...ran some rounds through it yesterday. It's quiet enough the hearing protection isn't really necessary.

Flail mower is safely tucked away in the shed for the winter

Need to get the snow blower rigged today.

The leaves were too frozen (from Friday's rain) to do much...hopefully they'll be thawed enough today to get something done.

I had just about stopped watching sports, but I don’t have much else to do right now. Roll Tide!
32 going to near 50 today, rain moving in tonight and tomorrow.

Very little yard work yesterday almost zero,today 5 or 6 wheel barrels wood to bring in,if temps reach 35F + plan to blow leaves for the last time,time permitting set in woods couples before dark...might watch end of nascar race also football.

While sitting in the woods last couple hours yesterday little chipmunk decided I need some company,he/she was very interested in my old hunting mitten so I left it,I'll stroll over today to see what become of the mitten.
