Tractor
Yanmar 336D
Have a neighbor who is moving out of the country life and wants to sell me her 226D. I have no idea of how to price this tractor. Specs on it show that it is 16 HP and originally sold in the 80's for about $7,000. Has about 900 hours on it. Was used in a commercial landscaping business most of it's life. Seems to run good. Tires are shot. All need to be replaced. When driving it you can hear a rattle noise in the transmission. Still works in all the gears. Any feedback would be appreciated in a huge way!

It is a 4 wheel Drive with Powershift - a sweet setup. My biggest concern would actually be whether is has a ROPS.

I believe that you would do better to post this in Yanmar (the next area down), though!

Ended up getting this 226D. Handy little tractor for sure. Gave me a bush hog, a rototiller, a 6' blade and a chain harrow with it. Kind of as a favor for keeping her driveway clear of snow for the past 17 years.

Do not have an owners manual with this one. Does the rear end run off the same fluid that is in the tranny?

It would be nice to see a pic of all three! Showing the size comparison.
