Finally got this put together. Ordered the rtv in July or aug. Ended up getting caught in the seat belt recall and delayed for a while. Ordered it so it would never had sat on the lot for more than a day. Options we went with were 4K winch, BT radio, 2" lift and had 4 27x11x12 itp black waters sent to the dealer for mounting.

Once the buggy came in, we ordered an Enduraplas field boss 365 100 gallon. Added the 15 gallon hand wash station and electronic valves...for ease of use with the gps. 20' boom and 30' boomless nozzle

Same day I called to get the raven cruizer ii gps. Dealer I have been using told me they are phasing it out and there was a price increase. New latest greatest at this price point is the CR7. Decided to go that way and ended up being one of the first if not the first to buy it.

Sprayer came in the day we were leaving town. Was able to sit down and get everything wired up along with tester today. Still need to solder a wire in the tir electronic box to allow the gps to automatically start painting when the boom is turned on.

Still need to download the roads to the gps but loving it so far. Playing around with it and went thru about 30 gallons of water this evening.

Lots more adventures going along with outfitting my sprayer trailer.

Brett

I know Texas is a big state... But where are you going on an rtv that you need gps; and what in the world are you spraying???

The roads make it easier to get your bearings by giving you a visual point of reference. The gps allows me to minimize spraying over areas I have already been which will greatly reduce the amount of chemical used. I'm trying to get my place squared away with the weeds and get the pasture to come in better in preparation for some Heffers my wife and son are wanting.

The gps is for ag use, commonly used for planting or spraying. The other options are dye or foam markers. I'd prefer to use the paint feature and follow a line to ensure adequate coverage. In the spring I'll move it over to the tractor when running the batwing. With practice I should be able to reduce my overlap atleast 6-12" which will give me greater efficiency. If i can shave off 30-60 mins a field that would be a huge savings in time and minor in fuel ($5-10)

Might do some custom spraying for neighbors on their sub 20 acre places too
