Good morning!!!!

I saw two snakes this year, one blacksnake and one ? In the fields probably eating left over grain?
Or finding something else to eat.

I started a thread in the Transportation section. On the Tesla semi.
I had to just put someone on the ignore list for the first time since I joined TBN.
A very unpleasant person who spends most of his time in Unfriendly Politics, and now
has become a troll in the thread I started. Very right wing, anti government, anti-environment, you name it.
He just insulted someone who posted his efforts to be green. What a nasty man and a real spoiler.
Genuinely demotivates me to start any new threads, and I hope a Moderator is reading this.

I have absolutely avoided Unfriendly Politics because of really bad experiences there. And now some anti ecology
anti everything troll has descended like a nasty insect in the midst, trying to poke fun of other's opinions and rarely saying
anything positive. So he went on the ignore list. I'll still read some of what he writes when others take him to task, but
at over 8000 posts for him, clearly he has spewed a lot of negativity in this forum. It's a free country, right?

I would sure vote for TBN to get rid of Friendly Politics. Too many people get all jazzed up in there and then start leaving snarky comments in our
normal discussions. Like they had six cups of coffee or too much to drink. If that area was eliminated, those folks seeking that level of attention are going to get closed out.
Folks who get in the inevitable verbal jousting matches in Friendly Politics are coming out of there, going into another thread, and forgetting to shift gears, wear another hat, call it want you want. I call it basic civility and it's not being shown. Toppop knows how shift gears perfectly. Some of these folks don't.

I think only one person has been given the hook in this thread. Many of us remember and most of us want to forget.

going to flush his bad karma down the drain by taking the tractor out and helping my neighbor get an old transplanter out of the woods.
It might need a few parts. This should be interesting.

The low this morning was 22*, yesterday's high was 58*. Today's going to be colder with the wind increasing to 20-30 to night and a 40% chance of snow showers.

Eric .... I liked the story even if it was a little fishy.

. Glad he lives to tell it.

I think the new block heater I put in the tractor a few weeks ago is bad. I'll test it this morning and see. If it is it will be the second one that was bad from the same company. Had one in my truck last winter. Not much else planned for today.

You may be right, Drew, but I suspect just the opposite would happen. If Friendly Politics was closed, the trolls would no longer have a sanctioned outlet for their bitterness and turn to other threads, even this Good Morning!!!! thread. It sounds like you're making wise use of the Ignore List. My only regret is that adding someone to that list does not prevent them from still seeing my posts, as would Blocking someone on Facebook.

I know what you mean, I don’t spend much time there anymore, it’s become a personal name calling contest. I do think i5 serves a purpose though, and is better kept than tossed.

Still never been to the FP forum, and still have no intentions of going there. I can barely stand discussing politics with family and friends. No point arguing with people I don't even know. Besides, conversations over the internet are all too frequently misconstrued as it is. Throw in controversial topics, and there are entirely too many people out there just waiting to pounce. Sorry you had that experience on what should have been a fairly innocuous thread, Drew.

68F and cloudy @ 12:30, high today supposed to be 71F with partly cloudy skies. High of 76F tomorrow, but the high on Monday is only predicted to be 54F ...

Decided yesterday it was dry enough to do a little outside work, after the sun started peeking out. Got the last pile of wood chips moved to the compost pile (except for a couple buckets worth), including delivering 3 buckets to a neighbor up the street who wanted some for mulch. Also got most of the logs picked out and moved to the "new wood" pile to season for the next year. And got the rest of the junk wood burnt.

Was hoping the sun would come out today but so far it's not looking like it will ... hopefully later.

Will likely finish the chip clean up, up at the wood yard today and maybe work on building up the firewood storage area. Also have a hose clearance issue on the bracket for the front aux hydraulics on the loader I might fix ... might be as simple as rerouting a couple of hoses.

Have a small job to do for another neighbor with the grapple, so would probably be good to get that fixed.

Ron and Betty, have a wonderful anniversary.

I don't like the cussers in FP and I do my best to get under their skin.

On another note, Finnly got a new paint set from her aunt and she was in such a happy mood, stating so many times while she drew her happy turtle. So, here's to you Drew.
