Questionable, having a tractor serviced by a Rural King clerk whose other job is stocking shelves/cashier ... caveat emptor![]()
Separate positions, thankfully! I'm like you, though, don't want my tractor service by cashier.

. Well, fyi, every Rural King that sells tractors also services them. I was also told that if you have a problem, they will come out to your property to fix it and if need be, take it back to work on it. I don't know if that's all true or not as we've not had any problems with ours so far. I was also told that they can be worked on at any TYM service center but not for warranty work. Rural King is also planning on expanding their tractor line to more stores as soon as maintenance areas are setup and personnel trained.
.
I talked to them about exactly that. They said that, whereas the warranty is thru Rural King, the tractor is exactly the same as TYM models (except for tires) and that any servicing/repair can also be done at a TYM center. I hope that's true. (Actually, I hope I never have to find out!) I looked up the TYM T554 and it is a twin of our RK55. Same engine, chassis, specs, even color. So, I guess time will tell.

You keep saying they told you this and they told you that about the tractor and what they will do..
I wish you the best with your new tractor, but If they didn't put all that on paper, it was never said.
Good luck with your purchase. I wish we had a RK in my neck of the woods !
