855 hood fit a 955 ?

Has anyone actually done this. Seller of 855 hood says it wont fit

Same Part # if your 855 hood has different hinges you can swap them over. There was a running change in the geometry of the hinge rods.

I'd take a wild bet and say that even a 430 hood would swap over.

I know for a fact it will. I have a 430 hood on my 955 and never changed the stickers. People see it and think "that 430 looks awfully big".

As mentioned, the hood hinges had to be replaced with the 955 hinges and the 430 hood does not have the metal piece the engages the hold down magnet, but other than that, it's the same hood for 430, 855 and 955.
