14x20 skid shed build --Done!--
Guys, today we had gravel dumped then installed in front of both of our sheds to make a berm, so the ramps would sit at much less of an angle. Its hard to see in the photos, but the gravel may have be 6" deep, where the ramp would sit on it. Doing this effectively makes the ramps much longer and easier for skidding implements into both of these sheds. This will also control the water that was flowing under the older, smaller shed that's in the 1st photo. Also done today was installing the last piece of trim which effectively completes this new shed project.
Allow me to add silly details,
Most people who assemble skid sheds, don't plan to ever move it and cut corners in its design. That fine if you don't ever need to move it. This one can be moved and is located over a sewer line. Another feature that increased it's cost, was the implements are hung from 3 of its walls. Plus all tin screws located on its walls, are covered or buried, in 2x4's so people utilizing the shed won't have razor sharp screws poking out at them. Nonetheless, this shed cost in the $10,000+ range. Hope that helps.. Any questions???
Thanks to all for the kind comments.
