John Deere 110 TLB
Hi all,

First post here and new to deere tractor ownership...just acquired a used JD 110 TLB with front aux hydraulic connections. I'd like to hook up a 4-in-1 bucket I just picked up, but it looks like there is some sort of metal cap on the quick connectors and everything is pretty rusty.

The manual does not go into any detail on the exact function of the coupling or if there might be a metal cap on it and everything is rusted together and it looks like its all 1 piece. I'll try and take photos and throw them up here when I can.

Either way, I'd like to replace these quick connect male and female connectors...does anyone know the exact sizes? The JD parts manual only gives me part numbers and I'd prefer not to drop $150 into dealer parts when I could probably spend less than half for something non-JD brand.

Any help is appreciated! Seems like a great forum. Seems like folks either love their 110 or loathe it...I'm optimistic and not afraid to dive in myself.

pictures are worth 1,000's of posts. They should be flush face skid steer couplers, you would not have to get from deere, but you would have to get the same connection type, which I believe would be o-ring face seal, and matching size.

I'll try and take one this weekend. I think I misunderstood the way the flush face couplers work! I'll see if the bucket hydraulic couplers are compatible. Either I'll have to some rust removal on the couplers or just replace them altogether, which might be easier.

Thanks for your reply.

If the couplers are as rusty as you say then change them out. Most good auto parts stores will have these couplers or can get them over night. These are common to most skid steer attachments made by various brands. I used a Volvo grapple the other day on my 110 and have used some Bobcat tools too.

If you are not familiar with these it is best to take them off and carry in the store with you. Best I can remember about $50 for the female coupler and might be cheaper online.

I think you will find the couplers use ORFS-10 male threads. BUT check with a JD dealer to confirm.

You should be able to tell if male or female threads by looking at the couplers on your tractor.

You can confirm ORFS size by measuring the o-ring or thread sizes.

Here are a couple photos. After looking at them for a couple minutes, I realized that they MUST be replaced. I also took a photo of the bucket hydraulics which are practically new.

Decided to order new quick connectors from JF (sic) and a ton of other crap that this thing needs.

JF=JD?

Strange, isn't it, when the Dealer can be quite useful...

Support your Dealer and they will support you.

Welcome to the forum. Post a pic of your 110 for the TLB addicts here.
