Got it! Pics WILL follow.

Here are a few (mostly very pleasant) surprises:

  • The forward lighting is amazing. Those side lights.
  • The operator comfort is spot on.
  • The startup sequence isn't as annoying as I had feared.
  • The cup holder is too small and too far back. No dealbreaker, tho.
  • 3 Point lift cylinders are external!
  • Can't wait to see the $75 tool box - wish there were pictures of it somewhere.
  • High beams!
  • Horn
  • Love the parking brake setup.
  • Do NOT hop off the running tractor without setting the above (don't ask).
  • Bucket Level indicator is standard.
  • Bottom seems well protected.
  • I would prefer a bit more protection on fuel tank and hydraulic lines.
  • The clear heat shields weren't a surprise - but very popular - especially with Mrs.
  • The electronic controls are so intuitive!
  • The information display is no gimmick - someone knew what they were doing.
  • No matter how hard you mash the brake pedal - the tractor won't move. (twin pedal hydro owner recovery)
  • Lights turn off with the key.

I promise to follow this with more as I find it. And pics. Video.

I got home late - perfect time to show the lights.

Haven't been able to use it much; here are few more finds:

  • Tires are Carlisle - excellent choice.
  • Hydraulic hoses are wrapped. Should really help keep them nice.
  • The seatbelt doesn't hide itself under the seat.

in other words, lots of attention to detail.

Taken in almost dark, no flash.

You can't really see the external cylinder for 3 point. You can see the wrapped hydraulic hose for it.

The top link mounts to plates, should be stronger than a casting. Everything seems robust.

Right console. labels are very clear with plain english (not just icons)

PTO
Motion matching
Cruise setting (selectable for ether engin or ground speed)
Remotes

SCV Label is a perfect example of clarity

How do you like the new i-HMT?

Right now, I am in the awkward 'been using a two pedal hydro' stage. I occasionally mash the brake when I intend to change directions. Reminds me when my dad would drive an automatic and use the brake pedal as a clutch! I expect that it will quickly become second nature, and in the log run, safer for switching between vehicles. (arranged like a truck)

The transmission itself? It definitely is strong and smooth. Of course, I need to get more time on it.

Working evenings, I really need rear work lights. I have a magnetic plug-in one coming; I need to track down the actual wiring to add a permanent set.

When you let off the go-pedal, does the tractor stop like a hydro? Or does it keep rolling until you step on the brake like an automatic car transmission?

Newbie to this type of transmission so just curious how it operates.

Thanks

it stops, however if on a hill/incline it would then "roll" until you step on the brake
