Kioti Model question. Looking on Ebay for parts, I see a Kioti DK35CR. What is CR?

I don't see anywhere a proper Kioti designation of DK35CR. It is a real designation? I see DK35SE or DK35 only.
Can anyone help with this? (I have a 2003 Kioti DK35).

CR means "creeper", which are models with normal gearbox.

That was simple enough!

I have a "CR", I guess.
I don't have hydrostatic transmission. Just clutch that I depress to get between gears. So I must have the CR.
Seems odd on ebay that a grill would be listed for the Kioti DK35CR but not any other models. Are they different in the grill?

I think it's all the same, except the gearbox

Well there is a big difference between a DK35 and a DK35se. The DK35 is older, and has different styling and many other differences. I would suggest if you are ordering trim parts, to take care. I have never heard of a DK35CR, but I don't doubt it exists. There is a fair amount of parts interchangeability between a DK35 and the newer DK35se, but trim parts would not interchange. These tractors are sold worldwide, and I am sure there are specific regional models of Daedong tractors. A picture would be worth a bunch.

As a side note, does your tractor have creeper gears? Do you know what that means? How many gear ranges does your tractor have?

The tractor serial number would be helpful, and perhaps we could figure out the manufacture date.

The CR is the creeper speed gearset. The standard transmission was an 8 speed with F/R shuttle.
The creep speed gearset made it a 16 speed transmission.
They had them that you could buy already installed, believe it or not they also had it as a "dealer installed" option.

My DK45s has a low low range that is so slow I can't imagine what it's good for. I did use Low-4 once to drag an old school bus (with flat tires) across a dirt field to its final resting place. Otherwise, I've never used the low range.

I have heard of people hand weeding crops by riding on the back of tractors in special fixtures and hand weeding of maybe tobacco plants. Another use might be for a trencher to go very slow as the trencher cuts thru rocks and such. You could also use it to get off and let a tractor follow you as you gathered up rocks or sticks out ahead of the tractor and throw them in the bucket. Then get back on. As slow as it would go, you would not be in much danger getting on and off. My hydro can go as slow as you want to go, but your foot needs to be on the hydro pedal. With a creeper gear, it doesn't require an operator. I suppose you could point it towards someones house you wanted to destroy, and leave the scene of the crime!.. But in reality, I think they are for vegatable picking and row crop work of some kind.
