I checked the wiring today it looked good. unplugged one of the solenoids and it blows the fuse plugged back and unplugged the other solenoid and it didn't blow. Checked the solenoid ohms on the one that blows the fuse then checked the ohms on the one that didn't and they where the same don't what to do next
call the dealer?
Thanks Donnie

Did you ohm each coil to the body, not just across the coils? If it shorted to chassis ground that would do it...

You've got to chase the ground through the switch, the solenoid coil could be failing an drawing too much current when energized also so the coil resistance isn't the tell always. It could also be shorting to the frame through the valve as the other poster suggested. Do you have the Tech manual? If not I'd get one asap as it's a valuable tool.

I would swap the coil connections and see if the short follows the coil. If it does change the coil with a new one.

I swapped the connections and the short always stayed with the coil on the rear of the value. With both connections hooked to the coil on the front side of value was find. I looked a the parts book and it said rebuild kit will the solenoid have to be rebuild?
Thanks Donnie

I'm having a problem with my front auxiliary hydraulics again. Hadn't use it in a month hooked up my hydraulic post hole digger and it would not do anything so I tried my hydraulic chain saw wouldn't do anything either. when I pushed the rocker switch the dash would light up but nothing happens getting 12 volts to both switch and down to both solenoids. don't know where to go now. anybody have any ideas?
Thanks Donnie

@drware Donnie, I'm curious what the solution was for your July 2017 and August 2018 front aux issues. What did the problem/solution end up being?

He has been off for almost two years. So, don’t expect an answer. If you click on the highlighted user name, it opens a window with their data, and tell you teh last time they were one. drware was last on in July of 21.

If I were a betting man. I'd say his coil had a short to ground.
