Having metal roof on house, cottage, garage, tractorshed guess I would have to admit to enjoying the sound.

good morning all, about 74 out, not cooling off at night now for quite some time, thunderstorms in forecast for 10 straight days. Well, it's summertime.
Showers due in later this morning, fine with me, we need some rain as it got pretty dusty mowing the fields yesterday. I was cutting wheat stubble and it looked like a mini combine behind me. I powerwashed the tractor and mower when I was done, could hardly tell things were orange..., but reminds me to check the air cleaner this morning. Working the Kubota hard in the last few days pulling that disc, saw five bars on the heat gauge, sure wish it was more than an idiot light. Working hard in 90 degree heat with a/c on max, that engine was getting some exercise. Even sounded different when I turned it off. Just turning 400 hours on the tractor,hardly broken in and full of a fresh load of synthetic motor oil, not concerned over another bar showing. But I think if one more lit up
an unhappy red idiot light would come on. Hope to never see that.
am off to meat market to get a couple of steaks for house guests coming in Monday. Perhaps I should pick up the local favorite I find there, whole corned pig's head. Ugghh.

Need to pour first cup of coffee. 67° with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 80° with some sun. Sinuses are back to normal today. Going to get thermostat installed. Then some NASCAR.

Eric, I often linger in the little barn when the rain runs me in just to listen to the rain on the metal roof. With just rafters and purlins, I get very sweet music, maybe up to the quality of your son's speaker system. I keep a chair there, relax and look out the open end across the field.

Eric sound systems have improved so much in the past few years. 14 speakers in a car and sense I cannot hear what I used to I think I'll stay with the five in the great room. But I would still like to hear his sound system. The best auto sound system in a car I ever experienced was in a Jag XF like being in Carnegie Hall and 525 HP to boot one bad four door sedan

65 and a bit muggy...high about 80 and a 90% probability of thunderstorms.
Too wet to mow and I doubt it dries out much today. I do have to make a dump run and get a haircut. After that...play it as it goes...
