Cub Cadet 7360SS
I have a 2000 Cub Model 7360SS with a 485 front loader. I love the tractor and it has always been great, but now I am having a serious problem. It will not shift into any gear at all. The levers all move freely, clutch pedal pushes fine, engine runs fine, but it will not go forward or reverse. Yesterday I spent $250 replacing the hydraulic filter and fluid, but it did not help. The PTO and bucket work fine. All fluid levels are topped off, no major leaks or loss of pressure. I am at a complete loss. Anyone have any advice or anything I should try by any chance?

Have exactly the same tractor model and year, not experienced any issues in the 4 years I've owned it other than I can only get 3 of the 4 wheels to engage while in 4WD, try checking the linkage, good luck.

I removed the inspection plates, and I can see them pretty well. The outside connections seem fine, but now I am thinking it is something internal. Especially with the Hi-Low lever on the lower left side. It feels really loose, like nothing is grabbing.

Also, the tractor starts and runs just fine, and I can move all the gear selectors into all positions without pressing the clutch.

I fear you are correct that something internal has broken. Except it's strange that you apparently didn't hear or feel anything odd the previous times you used it.

Any updates as to the problem?
