Glad to see you got some listings out there. I do see the "Berkeley SBD" has a shipping price but then lists free shipping down below. May want to fix that.

I hope you feel better soon! Careful with that credit card. :D

Thanks guys for your advice & E-Bay problem.

Know that I need to drink more water. will try to do that.

Every time E-Bay improves things they get worse. Know this from many years ago. At 1 time they had a very simple listing form. It has been improved (???) a lot since then. Never sure what is going to happen now. Could not change to the proper category so I had to cancel listing. Will try it and the other 1 tomorrow.

This winter instead of worrying about the heat, it will be the cold. Just no way to win.

Crash, I washed my Harley in the driveway. The driveway was fairly steep. After washing it I barley touched it and it fell over. Made the mistake of telling a friend. New nick name "Crash Johnson" shortened to CJ. 325 Was the size in CC's of my last race bike. A Bull Taco. In my my mind crash also refers to some unplanned get offs when racing. That happened more often than I would have liked. Actually did not crash very many planes after I got back into the hobby after several years of laying off.

When first learning RC Lee's hobby shop would open just for me on Sunday after noon, even gave me credit if I was broke.:D

Now 2.12 AM time to go out & have a beer & maybe cook something.
Only 88 out there.

More later
Jim
I agree, the listing process is conveluted and over complicated.

I used to work with a guy that was obsessed with bultacos. He used to race them, now he restores and sells them. I asked him once why he liked them the best (honestly wondered and had no opinion) he gave me the eat poop and die look and went about his business.

Yep my favorite MC. Raced a 250 for a long time then the 325. No longer available in USA. Think they are still being made in Spain. If you got in trouble they would do their best to get you out of it. Had a Husky 500, first year of the 5 speed.
Some of them were real dogs. Took a lot of work, mine ran like a Swiss watch. You want more power or lift front wheel, just dial it in. Unlike the Bull, Huskies was trying to find a reason to spit you off. Desert racing was my favorite, but raced most anything when there was no desert races. Once you are geared for about 60 MPH more power is just a waste. When the BSA 500 came out I lusted after 1. Did ride 1 once. Dark night in the desert, me so drunk I needed help just to get on it. Roared around out there for 10/15 minutes. No problem except i was in mo condition to race the l=next day. May tell the whole story some time. & about how I got stared in racing. Also road friends OSA, (trials bike) Maco ( Moto Cross Bike.) & a few others. Just for the fun of it.

Found a lot more stuff to sell, & the good kits are coming up. Bad thing is they are on a wimpy shelf about 16 feet up. Too wimpy to use a leaner. They can barely be reached with a 12' a frame. Mine too heaver for me to move that far & neither Doug or I should be on a larder over about 4 feet.:D

Found a couple of C.M. Russel (Place mats??) to put on the wall of shame. & a road road picture I think was painted my mom.

More later,
Jim

Crash, in one of your listings you mention that putting an electric motor in would be neat. I have little experience with planes but do have an electric one with controller that never flew well, maybe 4' wind span. The wing is now messed up from a crash but the controller, motor and servos all work fine. I was thinking about transplanting the guts into one of your planes. Any thoughts on this? Which type is best for a newbie?

Hi everyone,
Kubota, I think that would be the best & only 1 listed that is suitable is the "Mini Fledgling". You would need to add elevator control, as it is rudder only. Build light & make sure the CG is about 30% back from the leading edge of the wing. If possible find someone to help you get started. If not available fly over tall grass. Keep altitude fairly high. If you get in trouble, cut power & the plane will straighten its self out. Only problem may be if a collector runs the price way up. if that happens I will find a new kit that fits the bill. I do have an electric kit on the shelf, think it is complete, will sell it pretty reasonable.

Getting ready to list a Fox 25 RC engine. Have no idea where it came from. It was on the shelf where a collector engine was, when it was stolen.

I would get a lot more done if I quit hiding things from my self. & the back would behave its self.

Road runner (S) very busy. Have seen them go by twice with food, ( babies to feed???). One of them was even chasing some full grown quail a day or so ago. Critter are taking over around here. Birds on the deck & a couple have come in the house.
Though squirrel was coming onto the deck, but he jumped off just as he got to the door. House spider is very friendly, had a hard time getting her off of me. Though I might get a scaly to get on my hand, almost, but he turned & jumped off the ramp. Hop toads out every night. they should not be out until it starts raining.

Tried to take pictures of high $$$ gems & a watch. Out of a dozen or so, 1 good picture, back side of watch. trashed all the rest of them. have another thing to try or list without pictures. Not good.

More later,
Jim

Yep, the Fledgling was the one I was looking at. I'm curious about your electric one now. :)

I see the Fox engine on there. It looks like your camera is focusing on things behind the motor. Maybe try backing up and using the zoom button instead of getting close to the item. On most cameras you can also focus on something bigger the same distance then move the camera to the item you want to take a snap shot of, usually by pressing the button halfway down. Looking forward to seeing more items.

Here goes nothing. Another crappy night. Very little sleep, chasing itches & finding some way to slow down pain. Then a dozen trips to the potty.

Went into the Barn when it cooled off a little (89), electric kit not there, maybe Cody did something with it or it was stolen.??
1 More place to look, but doubt it is there.

Kobota the mini will be a bargain at $60. Found one similar on the net for $69. Only thing, is it should be saved. Be worth a lot more in 19 years or so & it is a part of history.
here is a link to the $69 1. Http://www.freeflightmodels.com/pages/midway_model_co.htm
Keep in mind that building can be addicting & more fun than flying.

Some suitable designs.
A fun picture

Road runners very busy. Am sure they are feeding babies. There is a pair that hunts together at times. The front yard guy chased off 1 of the back yard runners.

Would like to see some pictures of these guys in your yard. What do they hunt?

Hi Folks,
It never fails. When things strat going wrong they don't quit.
Well went down this AM. Sandy said she has called a repair person. Cost$$$?? who knows. use to do that myself, but no lounger able.

Window AC was delivered, but not here. It may be at Sandy's & she plans to keep it??

Little things.
Getting something listed in the right place on E-Bay near impossible.

Wet rags from fridge do not last long.

More later back is yelling.
