I would never say it doesn't happen. Cause anything can happen. I think it's extremely rare. Curious if anyone reading this thread can say they have personally witnessed any of this crossbreeding. Pictures and/or scientific proof would be awesome.

Yep, seem that. Definitely proves it's possible between those two strains of coyotes and wolves.

That bear and any foxes don't even say anything to one another as they cross paths.

Missouri and Ohio are a long way from Eastern Ontario.

If I had the need to execute an animal I can't think of any reason I would ever use drowning.

I must say, The form of disposal matters little. I mean, you want them dead, killed, gone, removed, or the PC term "neutralized".

You ever been in a gunny sack underwater? I almost drown in Lake Michigan when I was little. And I was a professional lifeguard for about 8 years so I've seen my share of near death experiences by drowning. Add to that living with an asthmatic that looked like she was drowning on dry land, and it's not pleasant and I'd never put an animal through that. Kill it. Kill it fast. Don't make it suffer needlessly.

I don't want to go at all!

I know I've told about killing several hundred moles on here many times. When I first started, I was very displeased with several of the traps, as I'd find moles in them still alive. Worst was the Nash choker loop traps like these....

I'd find the mole flailing away in there almost always. Sometimes I'd even find the trap 10' away with the mole dragging it around. I tried a few other types, and the one that I found kills them the quickest is the Victor Out O Sight mole traps like this...

Out of 300+ moles, I think I found TWO that were just pinched on the outside of the trap. The rest were DEAD. The two that were pinched were just by the skin, so I let them go. I figured they'd earned it.
