Good morning! 90 heading to 100 no rain for next ten days and rain totals for the last four weeks was only half inch so everything is drying up and it's getting dusty. Spending the day with Dad. Hopefully I'll be able to wheel him outside later.

68 deg. Looks like the rain has stopped and sun trying to come out. Fish not Interested in being caught and all in all retirement is boring.

72 and 95% humidity. Should see 90 today. Got .40 in rain...thank you, but I didn't paid anything .

My wife came back from taking care of her parents in NC last night. So I spent much of the day vacuuming, washing, and cleaning and roasting her favorite coffees after coming home from the gym. Great to have her home. Coco agrees. She has hired a service to help take care of her parents at home, and will make frequent visits.

Kyle, great idea using the stereoscope for splinters...I use my fly tying lighted magnifying stand.

I hope all have a wonderful fathers day, with or thinking of your dads, and children. I noticed MLB teams were wearing their blue uniforms when watching some of the Orioles game yesterday (they hit 5 home runs, so maybe they should change their colors to blue permanently). I imagine the baseball parks will be full today. My oldest son and wife are taking us out for Tex-Mex for dinner tonight.

Glad you got your wifey back home! Absence makes the heart grow fonder.

My buddy had 23 acres "sprigged" with a hybrid coastal bermuda for hay production. This was south of Victoria Texas. He needs rain right now, or $1750 down the drain.

I did not get any coffee today. For some reason, I woke up at 2 am and could not get back to sleep. Then I put on a movie, Battle of Sevastopol, about the most successful female sniper of all time, and her relationship with Eleanor Roosevelt. I watched it until 4 am, then watched some documentary for a bit finally going back to sleep...I plan on taking a nap this afternoon to avoid the heat.

I never care how long my wife is gone, as long as she's home by dark!

76F little over cast steady but still humid,mid to upper 80's maybe pop up t-storm.
Outside just after dawn get project done before weather got humid than took Mrs. food shopping...pet supplies but there worth every penny.

Mrs. wanted to go fishing late yesterday afternoon until dark all catch and release 20 small bass,only thing I caught was fishing line in impeller of motor almost from the far distance from boat launch sooo lot rowing.

This will be putter afternoon Iam certain.

Good evening all. 78F this morning, cloudy and light wind. Day warmed to 95F, light wind and remained cloudy all day. Got back from Kansas ride, 496 miles in 7 days, mechanical and weather issues cur trip by 31 miles. Today rest up, drink up (water ) and sleep up ( 2 hr nap, all time record). Lost 2 1/2 lbs, bike still works, good week!
You all have been busy, still trying to catch up!!!

It took a while, (7hours) but I finally did it, got Dad something he hasn't had in a month - sunshine. I was a proud son pushing him though the corridors. Of course being June in Texas and 97˚ a few minutes outside was enough for him. Had good day. He might be making a come back.

Sunshine again today, no wind at all and a high of 27C/81F expected. The sheep were moved over in the cool of the evening yesterday, ready to sort out the first of the lambs later this morning in good time for Tuesday's market.

More sorting later in the day too. I contacted a local rifle club and have arranged to take over my target shooting gear tonight. I haven't done any competition shooting in the last couple of years and are unlikely to in the future, so thought it was time to give it to someone who can make some use of it.


Mostly, bet it feels good to sit back and rest after your long ride, with that slight feeling of relief that your legs were willing and able to let you make it to the end.
