Another hot sunny day, perfect for me to get some more "do nothing" practice.
I am well used to not achieving much in a day, but not even attempting to do anything is proving much more difficult.


L4N, we know you have to work long hard days when the sun shines, but you can't have a bad job when you get paid for watching the rain come down !

Kyle, at 7, is your son about the age when it is suddenly fascinating to have a peek at tiny bugs and things through your stereoscope, or would he sooner get back out and play with another cactus ?

Drinking second cup of coffee. 72° with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 81° with thunderstorms in morning. Lots of lighting and angry skies yesterday. But no rain. Looks like the same today. With major storms moving north and south of us. Loaned my Porter Cable 362VS belt sander to neighbor. Got most of his job done. Then it stated loosing power. Poor guy thought it was something he did. Nope rear motor bearing went out. New bearing on order. Glad it happened to him. It will be in good working condition when I need it.

72 and 95% humidity. Should see 90 today. Got .40 in rain...thank you, but I didn't paid anything .

My wife came back from taking care of her parents in NC last night. So I spent much of the day vacuuming, washing, and cleaning and roasting her favorite coffees after coming home from the gym. Great to have her home. Coco agrees. She has hired a service to help take care of her parents at home, and will make frequent visits.

Kyle, great idea using the stereoscope for splinters...I use my fly tying lighted magnifying stand.

I hope all have a wonderful fathers day, with or thinking of your dads, and children. I noticed MLB teams were wearing their blue uniforms when watching some of the Orioles game yesterday (they hit 5 home runs, so maybe they should change their colors to blue permanently). I imagine the baseball parks will be full today. My oldest son and wife are taking us out for Tex-Mex for dinner tonight.

63* now on the deck, yesterday high was 68*. The sun did make it out in the late afternoon yesterday. It was cool and windy tell then.
Weather apps are saying high 70's for today with sun and wind.
The wind has been at it for almost two weeks,15-35 mph. And still in the forecast for the next few day's

Kids took us out for a nice Italian dinner, then on to the cruise in where several old friends were, great evening! Hot and humid, rained all around us yesterday for the second day in a row.

85F (already) and mostly cloudy @ 11:00. Pretty windy, gusting to 18 mph ... and there is an 80% chance of thunderstorms today as the front comes through, some could be severe. After today high temps are headed back into the 70's for 3 days, and then the 80's afterwords.

Today will likely be an inside day ... no shortage of stuff to do there.

76F little over cast steady but still humid,mid to upper 80's maybe pop up t-storm.
Outside just after dawn get project done before weather got humid than took Mrs. food shopping...pet supplies but there worth every penny.

Mrs. wanted to go fishing late yesterday afternoon until dark all catch and release 20 small bass,only thing I caught was fishing line in impeller of motor almost from the far distance from boat launch sooo lot rowing.

This will be putter afternoon Iam certain.
