2011 DK40SEH & Backhoe - Pricing?? Thoughts?

Hello All!
After 3 months of searching & lurking, I am in need of some advise/personal opinions.
I will say, that the thought of tractor shopping was much more enjoyable than the reality of tractor shopping.

In my area, decent used tractors seem to be few & far between.
I think I have finally found one that may be worth the 2.5hr drive.

Dealer has a 2011 Kioti DK40SEH with 620 hours, KL401 loader & KB2485 backhoe. Tractor is all around in what appears to be in really good shape.

Dealer has it listed for $22,500
Its hard to find a few good comparable tractors in a 150 mile radius..

This specific tractor seems to cover most of my wants on my wish list.

What do you guys think. I have no intentions of buying sight unseen.
Mostly everything I read regarding this tractor is how much people love them.

What are your honest opinions on listed price.. I know there is room for negotiation. Initial thought? High? Low?

Looks like a nice machine. Seems like it is falling right in line with the prices I have seen. Maybe able to get another 1K or so off but worth a look for sure!

Got some more information today:
The dealer sold the tractor new, which they have all service records for the machine. Not a lot, which is a bonus.

I am 2 1/2 hours away, which they said there would be a really good chance of delivering it to me, which would be great.

Seems like an additional 1k off too.

Feeling pretty good about this.

Hoping to get things a little more finalized tomorrow. :drink:

Looks like it has been on the dealer lot for some time, still snow in the pictures you should be able to talk them down a bit. 1-2K off would be about right delivery would be an added bonus. Might be good to have them change all fluids including antifreeze.

I will be sure to let them know about wanting fluids changed. I completely agree about getting 2k taken off. My dad always told me, "you can only sell for a price that someone is willing to buy" and that statement hold true the other way around as well.

Well I have an update. Went and checked it out.. talk about rust. Felt bad for the tractor. But on a positive note, we should be welcoming a 40hp boomer to our household tomorrow!!

Too bad the Kioti didn't work out for you. The NH looks to be in better condition from the pics. How many hours on the clock?How much did it run you, if you don't mind sharing? Where did you find it?

The NH is in excellent shape. Some info about her.
650hrs, HST, 2nd set of rear remotes (hoses all set for my future grappler), tires are loaded, rims were painted when new, block heater. Looks to be well taken care of. I will no be three generations in my family who currently own a 40hp new holland
My father has a 2003 TC40DA & 2009 Boomer 3040 w/ hoe
Grandfather has a 2004 TC40DA
I now own a 2007 TC40DA, which I have bought frame mounts so I can go and borrow my fathers hoe when needed, as he is only a few miles down the road.
It's coming from Champlain. Bought for 16k, which will keep me under budget. Which me and the wife are okay with.

I love my Kioti, but the Boomer was my second choice! Just fit me better.
