Good evening all. 63F at the start clear sky, calm wind. bike ride this morning, got ready to go over to relieve the wife at stepdaughter (her house getting pest control treatment) when I called to let her know I was on the way, she said she would be home shortly. Over to Sherman for grocery shopping and get bike back from shop. Was going to mow, but nap interfered

Pleasantly warm, no breeze, with a clear blue sky for the morning and light cloud predicted for the afternoon. About perfect weather, although no doubt txdon would not find the pool water hot enough - nor even find a pool around here

Took grandson on a little "adventure" yesterday, his first ever fishing outing. Fortunately the fish were obliging and he had a great time. I will see if I can put a picture later today up on the "Alien invasion" project - a good way to finish that old pond thread.

I have a heck of a cold....made it to work yesterday...not so sure it's a good idea to head in today though

Coffee is done brewing. 48° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 70° with some clouds. Lawn cutting on the list today. Animal barn is slowing getting back to being able to store the equipment I normally store in it. Cleanup chainsaw and put in fresh gas. Took about 5 pulls and it was purring like a new saw. I did drain all the gas before storage. Next project to cleaning up tree is to sharpen blades on chipper.

Stopped by Harbor Freight yesterday and bought a 4 gal backpack sprayer for $17...saw a nice one in Home Depot for $85 so decided to give the cheapo a try. My old 2 gallon metal carry tank is about done with.

somehow I thought this was first day of June, well, rushing things...

I really want to clean up a tree line of briars and other junk with my push string trimmer today but weather
has to cooperate. Actually I don't mind working in very light rain if the machinery doesn't mind; when we weedeat we get slimed anyway...

ordered an 18 foot extension to my gas powerwasher to start working on my house. Really don't want anyone walking on shingles so the long distant method will have to do.
This is the land of mold and it's everywhere. Local dollar stores sell a lot of cheap bleach.
I can't use the long extension, too hard on my arms, but that's why young big firemen are great to have around.

Good morning! 68˚ in central Texas heading to the mid eighties, partly cloudy.
By my fence line on the other side of the fence is a dead big black hog and 200 buzzards. It looks like the neighbor went hunting. That might have been the one that attacked Whipper. Whip's deep leg wound is healing nicely.

Like Drew time to clean the patio cover and around the pool. Volleyball season starts soon.
