Good morning!!!!

We just had golf ball sized hail. Leaves and small branches everywhere. Apparently, the new roof held up against the storm. No leaks that I can see.

Sorrow and prayers for those families in Manchester. Much anger for the perps. Wish they made "selective herbicides" for those types.

Sorry to hear about Nicky Hayden too. Motogp is my favorite sport to watch and keep up with. Surprised that after all these many years of racing in such a dangerous sport, that he would get done in while riding a bicycle hit by a car. Sad. the Kentucky Kid was a great ambassador for America.

Life is precious, as are good deeds.

Wifey made some tacos, time for din din.

Kyle, that line of showers passed by here about 6pm. No hail but it did make the sun shine Autumn colors on the green trees at sunset on the other side of the creek. It even turned the light poles red.

Good evening all. 62F for the start, overcast, showers in area .1 in in rain gauge. Light wind the first half day then picked up a bit, wind forecast looks like March!. Temps rose to 72F good day for riding, clouds thinned a bit early afternoon, overcast came back sprinkled a bit but sidewalk did not get wet. Cleaning lady prep, bike ride lunch nap, went to town for dinner and presentation from Holocaust survivor Jack Repp. Just wondering how someone can treat others the way the Germans did or radical jihadist do. Just can't understand it :(

Very pretty. Where are you located in central Texas?

We had a bloke go headfirst over the handlebars this morning. Dog ran out in front of him. Hit the ground with a loud crack. He's in hospital now but we have not heard how he is yet. He and his wife are due to fly out Tuesday for a cycling trip around France.

Good morning. I am enjoying a change of scenery, as we drove over to stay at our son's for the night.

We gave my wife's new car a try out - a Toyota CH-R. It drives very well, although when I came to park up, it couldn't handle the steep driveway because of a low overhang on a bit of plastic at the front. No doubt my wife is quite pleased about that as it will deter me from driving it round our fields, even if it does have 4 wheel drive.

No new motorhome in the plans. We started traveling in 2005 during the winter. Which included a visit with the TBN TX. Group. Time to start staying closer to home.

Ron, no more motorhome travel ! How are we all going to know when winter is coming without your annual migration? We will be back to the old primitive days of looking at the leaves on trees...

You know, David, I used to work for Wicks Organ Company. There was a pipe organ they'd built in the early '60s for the Higashi Hongwanji Buddhist Temple in Hilo, HI. I was always trying to convince the company President that he should send me to inspect/repair that instrument, as I was the only Buddhist who'd ever worked there. :D It didn't work, unfortunately, but was worth trying nonetheless.

PJ, you sure have held some fascinating jobs, they should have sent you with that ace card. Or is "Pulling out all the stops" like that not permitted at an organ restorers ? (sorry, you must have heard that a million times when working there :ashamed: :))

good morning all, rain has stopped, for the moment, will pick up again this afternoon, warmer day, going to get into low 80's,maybe.

I never ever would have associated Buddhism with pipe organs. Shows how little I know. There is nothing that ever gave me goosebumps quite like hearing a massive pipe organ in some ancient cathedral in Germany. Huge ceilings, all that stained glass and the low rumble of the organ. Even if one was not "religious", would be hard not to feel something in that environment, if only awe. PJ, we need a YouTube video of you wailing away on some pipe organ, maybe a little Dixieland Jazz? :D

Probably will go back and work in the barn again. Today I wear a dust mask, too much rust to grind off and breathing that can't be good.
