Check those loader frame fasteners!

I was just "walking around the Hurlimann with the Allied 195 loader today. Two of the four front frame attach bolts were little more than finger tight. Thesplit lock washers showed the gap.

A minute with a socket wrench and bar snugged them back again.

Check early, check often ;-)

Get rid of the split so-called lock washers. Replace with Blue Loctite.

I had the right bracket front 2 bolts fall completely out, the first time I recognized they 'could come loose'. I found a spacer on the ground, and wondered "Where the **** did that come from?" I was shocked to see the right loader bracket loose up front. Luckily, the back was still solid.

Now, I check them and almost all visible bolts, each time I fuel up. If something looks like it could be loose, I go over everything in that size socket, that I am able to find.

I've had loader bolts loosen more than anything. But, I just had a bolt which holds up the fuel tank loose as well as 2 other which hold the 'brush guard' on. I'm amazed at how easily they loosen. I think that if I get an afternoon this summer, I'll add Loctite, hopefully that will decrease the issue.

Agreed. I stopped using split washers, serrated, etc. long ago. For some reason I'm still a weak fan of nylock nuts on occasion but Blue Loctite is now a staple.

You might want to check to see if those bolts have a torque spec.

I've been torque checking my loader frame nuts every spring since I found one missing. Blue loctite too.
