New member with new old mt372

I have just purchased a mt372 as my first tractor. Ive gotten a lot of good information from here already, but i have one that i just cant seem to find.

In the third picture there is a hole to the top right behind the pto shifter that i cant figure out what it goes to or if its even functional. Ot feels as though it bottoms out about an inch down...

Also, im trying to source the foot pedal throttle linkage if anyone knows where i could pick one up that would be great

Overall i think i got a really good deal, tractor runs great, hydralics are good, and it just got a paint job... all for $1k
