2 days left at that rate and its only the 13th....

Just how much NetFlix are we talkin? Curious, as this may be a solution for us at our rural property, but we like our streaming video.

I believe my billing cycle is on the 15th so that is basically a full month of service, also I shouldn't blame the kids solely, they do have their 3 tablets going a bunch but I got a new laptop a couple a weeks ago and that dang thing download tons of updates since it was new.

The plan shows unlimited so we use it as such.

Thank you for that copy of the bill. That's the kind of precise answer I was seeking. :)
No problem, fees seem a little bit less than a cell phone since this is data only, no 911 fee etc.

I'm wanting to order one from the AT&T website for delivery to Fulton, MS. But I'll only be here for a few weeks.

How long are they taking for delivery if ordered on the website?

I could not find a phone number to call and ask.

If there is a Best Buy local, you may be able to get it there.

The RV forum has many pages in this thread, some folks have had to go into ATT store to get activated, some have had the activation fee waived, etc.. RV.Net Open Roads Forum: AT&T Unlimited LTE Hotspot $2 without AT&T phones

Wow, we've been trying to figure out how to get cheap reliable internet at our property while we're building... My wife's work phone is AT&T, and works fine there, so I'm in the process of buying this device outright at the moment... Currently the att.com website says "$0 activation fee" if you buy the no contract device. Sounds good to me, and if it doesn't work, I'll just peddle it on Ebay. :) Checked our usage through the router, and we used 4000Mb last month, which is 32Gb. Should work for us!!!!

Time to wire up an OBD2 connector on our 5th wheel!! :)

Just curious from those with the device already, how strong is the signal? Will we be able to use it in the truck camper with it plugged in under the dash of the truck?

Anytime something like that happens to me, I think of Charlie Brown trick or treating....

I'm fine with that. If they want to sell my email address and home address, and pay me for it, more power to them. Thousands of other people get that information without giving me anything in return. Seriously, I can easily throw away my junk mail and my spam filter sorts out any crap from my email. It's not like I've given them my bank account or SSN or anything important.

I am not singling out the ebates site but it really is much more than just a name and e-mail address that is being given up on so many sites regardless of what you may or may not get in return...for those that care it's crucial to read every word of the user, member, visitor agreements etc...especially with social media sites...

sites that offer something for nothing...
users are not just giving up a "throw away" e-mail address...some of the scripts running on the types of sites mentioned will scan and record every e-mail address anywhere on your computer including all address and contact lists etc...(facebook does this)
Cookies...invasive cookies used by some sites can record every site visited by a browser that left even a simple session cookie...
Alliances between all the major sites (Search, news, social media) allow them access to search histories etc...
Other scripts are designed to search for other types of data the average user keeps on an internet device...

Tried to order one, but out of stock. I checked and BestBuy had one. Got it for $ 80, but they had no access to the plan. So I bought it and went to the ATT store. They tried to give me a $ 20/ 1 gig plan. After a call the sales girl was able to get me the unlimited plan for $ 20. All is good. Also got my USB adapter in the mail today (ebay). All set now.

I will not buy ZTE equipment. This is from mainland china, not Taiwan. Their equipment is questionable...

ZTE is 2nd tier. Samsung & Apple are both made in China.

I'm sure the answer is in this thread at Howard forums.

Only a little over 2,000 posts since March 1st.

Ordered Fri, shipped today after I called to verify my ID at their direction.
And you can always set up a repeater if the signal isn't strong enough, or if you need lan ports for some devices...
