This is similar to a story about a guy smoking a cigarette while driving in the slow lane of traffic when he drops the smoldering butt between his legs, and frantically attempts to fish it out, while at the same time he is being passed by a bus of folks on their way to work. How do you explain there is a hot cigarette between your legs, using sign language?

I believe the above was an old Shelly Berman schtick. Now just as I suggested earlier to carry a knife, if you smoke while driving, have a bottle of water at hand in case you have to use it to extinguish a hot butt.

I just looked up the Power Trac 1850, looks like a very useful machine, I would deff be buying a cheap knife or multitool and attaching it to the machine as a 'never leaves this machine' tool. So that doesn't happen again, zip tie a sheath to a pillar or something within reach if it doesn't have a toolbox.
