fried you are exactly rite, think they try to brain wash people without them even knowing it.
there vids are good on there site but lets leave it there. other mfg are just as good n some are not
but that is for the individual to decide and what this site is all about, asking questions and sharing lessons
learned ive not dealt with EA to be fair but don't like them pushing there product on this site. like
free advertising for them kinda turns me off

Free Advertising? I thought you had to pay to be an advertiser on this site, like they are:

The "ad bill" may be significant, but the "ad" cost/effectiveness on a CAPTIVE TARGETED AUDIENCE is likely VERY impressive!
It is much more than just "advertising"!
It is about selling product by schmoozing with your audience.

If that's all true, why is that an issue? It helps fund this site for all of us to use. It provides a manufacturer with much more direct feedback on products, so they can build what we want and make more money doing it. It's a win-win-win in my opinion.

It is an "issue", because a supposed information sharing site, has been hijacked for purely commercial purposes!

My suggestion if you have a problem with what is going on on this site, either take it up with the boss or quit coming to the site. Het gets paid by the advertisers. Some of us participate, some do not and just have their add run. But pretty sure that all of us pay for the right to promote our products on this site.

I would have to disagree. Some of EA's videos (like the "what not to do with your grapple" video) have a lot of entertainment value...
The advertisers on here are in many cases part of the community and help people avoid spending more than they need to fill their needs (I have heard anecdotal stories of EA, Ken (of Ken's Bolt On Hooks), Everlast and MtnViewRanch doing that). That is hurting their bottom line because they got a smaller sale, or pointed a customer to another vendor who had what the customer needed for cheaper.
They are also at times willing to go out of their way to make a special deals or discounts for TBN members (such as when, Mark from Everlast let people know when Amazon had a screaming deal on their welders).
They also use TBN for product development to see what people are looking for and to see what people think of their new designs.

You, Messick's, Ken Sweet, Dave's Tractor, and others, do participate: but DO NOT try to hijack the site!

Fried1765, just wanted to say, I just posted a similar post and found this post to read-and Darn Man I have never seen anyone hate and BASH TSC as bad as you do,,,,,you do realize they never claimed to be the best ever built, when you pull up reviews from purchases-most got what they expected....
Some of us have smaller tractor's (25-27HP) and don't have double the money to spend on something that maybe we can get by with TSC if we try to take it easy on they're stuff, 1-2 bashing's is enough in 1 post, not trying to start anything-just a rookie reader needing good post's.
