PJSprog, I only drive 3 1/2 hours to work in the spring and park the Jeep for the summer. The big truck takes me home all summer long and into the fall. All totaled over the course of the spring, summer and fall going back and forth to work costs me about $150.oo. I do more miles in the Jeep in the winter than I do in the other 3 seasons.

Going out today to stake out my mole of choice! :D
Bunch of 50's-40's-30's over the next several days, some rain Sunday maybe. Upper 20's this morning, 51 later, same as yesterday.
Beard, no beard, I ain't looking 20, or 40, maybe 50 with enough shadows.
Gas here is around $2.15.

Let me know how this works out might have to try it.

Wish I still looked 50 but no beard not enough fur

Gas here the good stuff high test no ethanol $2.99 worth it to me

Good Morning! 42F @ 7:45AM. Partly cloudy this morning, then becoming cloudy during the afternoon. Slight chance of a rain shower. High near 55F. Winds light and variable.

Bushwacked by paperwork yesterday, but did manage to get the holes filled in and the conduit buried again in the side yard. Found the piece of steel channel I've been looking for and placed that over the spot that was crushed, and made sure to keep rocks away from the rest of it so maybe it'll survive being driven over for a while.

Back on the radiator fan shroud today.

Happy Hump Day!

Happy Hump Day to you too sir

He says to leave on the existing roof and that it will provide the final barrier.

I guess the existing roof would be a good barrier as long as you don't put any nails in it. Is this the same guy that did not want insulation next to the metal because it causes rust - but the existing roof will not? Will the additional weight of the metal roof cause any sagging problems? does he have any references for putting metal over an existing roof that you can view? I really don't have any answers just questions.

I have the outdoor cats on mole watch tonight, I'll relieve them just before daybreak, my new plan is just to shoot him before I turn on the light. No shadow! What could go wrong?

Ha, reminds me of the story Mikim told about teaching his grandson to shoot a 22 at a target. The first shot hit his dog laying behind the target, cost him a hefty vet bill, not to mention traumatizing his grandson.

30 here in Cohoctah, and a light snow. Going down to 16 by dawn. I guess Ill get some more tractor time! Not supposed to get much warmer tomorrow, but that is winter in Michigan. Of course, no sun either....:(

Got the news that my rental will be empty next month. Sad to see them go, they paid on time, its been a good 2 years. I will be busy cleaning, maybe some painting, normal wear and tear stuff. Then need to get a new renter...yuck.

Be safe!

55 today and 30 tonight. Nice warm couple of days we've had. Gotten several projects done and some more just started. Headed back to the freezer till the weekend.

Have two brush piles burning. Working on 36 hours each. Ones about burned out but the other one had way more dirt in it than I thought. So when it goes out I'll have to spread and repile. Finished cleaning out cow feeding pen. Have 50 tons of 610's on there way. Hopefully in the morning. I'll get to pack them all in with the loader. Wishing I had been able to find a hydraulic shuttle to fit my needs. But at least I have a shuttle just mechanical.
The guy that crops the neighbors place spent the day cleaning up after the loggers. Dug the stumps out of the hay field I cut. So have some dirt work and seeding to do there. Had a 200 Deere with mechanical thumb. Watched him work for a few minutes. He's obviously spent way too many hours in that thing. Was picking up limbs less than an inch in diameter and 3-4 feet long. Without disturbing the ground.
Birds leave next week so getting things situated for that also.
