Need to pour second cup of coffee. 48° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 72° with lots of sun. Picked another 2 bushels of oranges yesterday. Still several bushels left. Today I plan to spend lots of time on patio. We have a little over 10 weeks to spend here in AZ. Before heading back to MI. That should just about right for spring to start.
Looking, that's over $3.26 a gallon USA. Thought those kind of prices left North America.
Good Morning All.

Good Morning All.

The price is WELL over the $3.26.
$4.23/US gallon for regular and $5.03/US gallon for the 'good stuff'. Those prices are in Canuck bucks. The only thing I can do to lower my fuel costs is run regular loaded with ethanol gas and I wont do that to my Jeep.

Going out today to stake out my mole of choice! :D
Bunch of 50's-40's-30's over the next several days, some rain Sunday maybe. Upper 20's this morning, 51 later, same as yesterday.
Beard, no beard, I ain't looking 20, or 40, maybe 50 with enough shadows.
Gas here is around $2.15.

36°F and cloudy this morning, going up to 46° today. No precip forecast here until Monday next week, and that will be rain.

The dry and warmer weather this week is allowing our carpenter to move ahead on the sunroom. He got the footings poured yesterday where the deck used to be, and will be removing the old back porch today.

Bummer about your fuel prices, L4n. We've been holding around US$2.20/gallon around here for some time. I certainly don't miss those $4.00+ days. I had to trade my Jeep for a Kia Soul a few years ago, because I grew tired of spending $100/week just on gasoline to get to and from work.

Good Morning! 42F @ 7:45AM. Partly cloudy this morning, then becoming cloudy during the afternoon. Slight chance of a rain shower. High near 55F. Winds light and variable.

Bushwacked by paperwork yesterday, but did manage to get the holes filled in and the conduit buried again in the side yard. Found the piece of steel channel I've been looking for and placed that over the spot that was crushed, and made sure to keep rocks away from the rest of it so maybe it'll survive being driven over for a while.

Back on the radiator fan shroud today.

Happy Hump Day!

now for those of you in the frozen North, I got some seat time on my Massey mowing annual rye. Didn't need it at all...mulched some leaves I guess, but a great excuse to get outside on a 70 degree bright sunny day. Friday morning we may get snow flurries.
With the help of two strong guys, we beat on the frozen spindles on the Gravely deck ultimately successfully, though the motor had to come off, it's really stripped now, and two of the bolts had to be cut off. It needed a brute force approach and that worked nicely. Now to order some new spindles and start learning how to weld. I suppose better not to weld right next to that Honda motor anyway. I'll clean up the mess tomorrow, I went right from this to dumping garden mulch for the helpers and then to mowing. Trying to pace myself no matter how nice it is outside. Like Don working on that challenging fence line of his, only so much you can do in a day and still have fun.

Kyle, the gravel is screened to get the big rocks out, it has a lot os different size particles and after one rain hits it it settles good the sand and smaller gravel seeps into the open spaces of the larger gravel locking it together. It was $290 a load/ Yards?

Insulation does not go next to the metal, the Ice and water shield does and the solid plywood decking and then insulation. I agree with your roofer if batted insulation is next to the R panel which has ridges to allow humidity to enter and then needs air to dry it out. The rolled raised seam does not have ridges so the holes at the end of the panel do not need covering. What type of underlayment is your roofer using?

He says to leave on the existing roof and that it will provide the final barrier. But if I want to pay for underlayment, I can. As of now, thinking of putting down a 1x 4 lattice work and putting tin on top of that. I'm open for suggestions. I see Grace makes a synthetic felt for about $125 per 1000 sq ft. My guy says to put that under the lattice work.
