sorry about that Pix! Amazing how something so simple can get away from you. I don't have pictures of my stupid move but let's just say one time my little trailer was passing me on the right. :shocked:

Also, it's a special kind of helplessness watching something like that happen knowing there is nothing you can do to stop it.

Here's the screwup I did on Friday. I had to move out something behind my sled trailer so I backed it up my uphill gravel driveway without an issue on a somewhat icy drive. Because I had no issue backing it up I didn't think I needed to chock the wheels.
I get in my motorhome start it up and before I knew it, the truck and trailer is sliding down the drive. Nothing I could do but watch it.... Wheels turned slightly, slid another 12' and eventually jackknifed. S;;t !!
Dented my rear quarter and trailer front hinge needed realignment.

Were the truck tires hot from running down the road? I have had an instance after tires were warm, parked semi at sloped truck dock on snow. When I went to leave, I had no traction to go up the slope. Warm tires melted snow into ice. Luckily I had a pail of sand with me. Got brave threw some under far drive tire while it was in gear spinning, that side quit spinning, ran to driver side, threw some sand under it and jumped into the cab as it was staring to drive away without me. Ya, I was 50' away inside a vehicle so there was nothing I could do.

The truck was sitting there overnight so the tires were cold. If I slid at all when I moved it from one drive to another I would have thought of a chock but I had no issues backing it up in 4wd so it never crossed my mind. The trailer had two sleds in it so that extra1200lbs likely was the problem.

So looking at the pics it appears the truckailer must be front wheel drive only.

BUT! How would you turn a corner with it in the back window? I can see a long sheet resting on the hard cover and then stopping quickly and it going thru the windows. Jon

He would have a problem turning, you're right. But, 'I'm only going a little ways and I dont have any turns'.

Looks like a Chevy, I am surprised that it was not a Toyota Tacoma.

If it was a Toyota it would not be on the road that long. They stepped up and bought back at about 140% the value.
