Here's a theory. The vehicle seems to have a rear window that retracts or rolls down so the driver lowered the window and ran the long tin into the vehicle passenger compartment. To hold it down. Now, really, who hasn't done something like that at one time or other?

Then the sudden stop for whatever reason caused the unsecured tin to be pushed through the windshield from its resting point on the dash.

BUT! How would you turn a corner with it in the back window? I can see a long sheet resting on the hard cover and then stopping quickly and it going thru the windows. Jon

6am this morning I was passed at 70mph by a small pickup pulling a log splitter.
Coming home a truck with trailer pulled off along interstate at an on ramp, bunch of boxes blew off the trailer, guy had just got out and was running to retrieve boxes before cars smashed them. Don't know how it turned out.

Also today, another semitruck rolled at the turn just below my house.

Mr Coriolis can be pretty tough! Neighbor down the road from me lives on the outside of a big curve in the highway; lots of things end up in his yard. He has a kind of junk business there and I've been meaning to suggest to him that he should call his business "Coriolis Enterprises" :laughing:

Here's the screwup I did on Friday. I had to move out something behind my sled trailer so I backed it up my uphill gravel driveway without an issue on a somewhat icy drive. Because I had no issue backing it up I didn't think I needed to chock the wheels.
I get in my motorhome start it up and before I knew it, the truck and trailer is sliding down the drive. Nothing I could do but watch it.... Wheels turned slightly, slid another 12' and eventually jackknifed. S;;t !!
Dented my rear quarter and trailer front hinge needed realignment.

sorry about that Pix! Amazing how something so simple can get away from you. I don't have pictures of my stupid move but let's just say one time my little trailer was passing me on the right. :shocked:
