.22 LR Ammunition - any updates on availability?

While I don't think I will be buying any .22LR soon, (there is still none to be had here at Wal Mart), but looking at the prices available on some of the mail order sites and the supposed availability, I feel good enough about it to start shooting some of my "stash". Oh sure I have popped a few rounds now and then, but not like the old days of going out and taking a brick and not coming back with any. :thumbsup: If I know they can be replaced, at a reasonable cost, I know that I can afford to shoot up some of what I have.

I am surprised he has ammo that old. I too volunteer to get rid of said ammo for free even!

Free ammo is kind of like free beer. Not much trouble to give away either.

There hasn't been a box of any .22 rimfire in our Branson supercenter since Jan, 2013. I suspect there never will be. They don't even have shelf space for it any more. Any other caliber you want is available, but for some reason they are just not going to stock it here anymore. Most gun shops locally have it. Plenty available at mail order.
