Bad idea. I always thought that was prohibited?

We see it all the time heading south on I81.
The vehicles (truck, camper and boat) are coming from New England (MA, CT, ect.,,,)

BUT, they can not get here without going through Maryland, where triples are illegal,,,

Not towing, so I won't clutter the thread with a photo but I thought many here would find this interesting:

Fast traffic. Tesla driver can't see past the car in front of him. Tesla forward-sensing radar sees an SUV two cars ahead that is slower than traffic. Tesla starts crash alarm and emergency braking. Tesla makes full stop, well before reaching the by-then rearended and rolled-over SUV.

That's how it was hooked in the double trailer photo. It wasn't just the pair of trailers that made it wrong. The second trailer and car is being towed by the strength of the first car's tiedown straps.
