No one talking about Massey Ferguson anymore ???

Personally, I think the 1600s are the best CUTs out there, along with perhaps the JD 4000 Twentys.

Oh boy....... This could get ugly....... What is your basis of comparison??? :)

He probably drives a Rambler :)

Buddy of mine made a drag race car out of a rambler with stock chassis. Goes every which way but straight!!!! :D

Just my personal opinion based on 35 years of tractor use.

Yeah but what comparable tractors have you extensively used or owned? :)
We live on a 120 acre farm in CT. It might not be a large farm compared to the mid-west, but around here it's pretty decent-sized. In addition to that, I've owned and operated a small construction company for 18 years, specializing in concrete and light excavation. I've operated everything from '40s vintage 8Ns to brand-new payloaders with 7yd buckets to 35t articulating dumps. I've also operated every color tractor (red, green, blue, orange) that could be a part of our discussion.

Currently, we have as either part of the construction company or the farm: 262 CAT, Komatsu 70, JD850, MF1643, Belarus 525, Ford 9N, Ford 8N, Ford Jubilee TLB, TYM233.

Of your listings the only thing I see that would possibly compare to your Massey would be the JD850?? Not sure about the TYM233??

I'm certainly not disclaiming your varied experiences, just your statement "the 1600s are the best CUT out there". When you make a claim like that you need a wide range of experience to back up such a claim. Now you might possibly be right. I've never ran a CUT that I would claim as the "best CUT out there". But then I've never ran a 1600. So you might be onto something. Or not. :D

Well, next to a Belarus, a Massey Ferguson would look good!
