Got some snow in NH today. Here is my Kubota L2501 with Land Pride SB1064 snowblower and ratchet rake "snow edge" on the bucket. The snow edge works great on the paved portion of the driveway. Use the snowblower on the long gravel part. Works great!

Good looking set up, looks a bit chilly lol

What's the edge on your bucket?

It is the "snow edge" from ratchet rake. Purchased it right here in the TBN forum shop last week.

If it is of any help, here are a couple pictures of my chain mounting. Previously I have done the drive over method, but I've found

A. These 2 ladder chains of this size are really heavy for this old man
B. Having a free wheeling wheel allows for easier handling and adjusting.

Thus I use a floor jack that has a flat square rubber head about 5 x 5 inches. It fits perfectly under the rear end housing where the draw bar is welded on. Both rear wheels are off the ground and the HST is in neutral with the front wheels blocked.

The hardest part for me is getting the chain cam as tight as I like it....even though I use tensioners.

I do like your expensive tool for getting the cam lock tight. :D:laughing::thumbsup: Mind if I barrow that idea? It is a tire wrench that the pipe wrench is attached to - correct?

Yeah, Powerscol........Since I save everything..............That old tire wrench I had filed the tip square so it fit in the cam lock. And being an old guy, I didn't have enough umph to turn the handle...........thus the pipe wrench. Have at it.

Edit.......How about Pedzola's rig......Nice looking, but I'll bet he wishes he had a cab if the snow is that often, especially in a windy storm. And I have a question about those rear snow blowers that everybody probably knows the answer......Don't you have to drive that rig backwards to use it??? Some u-tube probably shows one in action.

Very nice package. I,ve got the BX2370 as well, same cab and B2370 blower, and it works awesome.
I,ve got the hydraulic shoot rotation, and just a couple of weeks ago I added the electric actuator to control the shoot deflection. It comes in handy when the snow is light and fluffy, and the wind is constantly changing direction.
The only thing I,m missing is the two lites you have mounted on the front of your cab.
How do you like the illumination they provide ? Can you please provide a link to what they are including part numbers.
I love being able to go out and play in the snow with this set-up.

Mounted my new BX5450 onto the Tractor today. I opted for the factory hydraulic chute rotation, I've been reading this thread for 2 years and you guys have some great ideas for chute rotation, but in the end it was just SO easy to throw money at the problem and move on! It's also is under warranty through Kubota.

I had a Rear Mount Blower, but I want to go FORWARD!!

If it NEVER snows again, I'll be happy!

Cheers,
BN

After 3 years without snow we finally had a couple of (laughable) "measurable events"

Here's my two loaders back from a 1 AM job clearing emergency access lanes for a large seniors' complex (and more importantly) the parking lot of our neighbourhood pub)

Those two look like they could move some white stuff! What is the advantage of a center lift arm versus two?

that looks heavy on the front end sticking out that far. How does it work?

I don't need down pressure! Lol. It's not too bad but glad I have one of the dense fluid and weights on the rears.

Generally speaking, tool carriers (single boom) provide level bucket lifting from ground to full height and increased visibility. They almost all come exclusively with quick attach.

Z bar linkage (as equipped on the PINK loader) provide more breakout force and usually quicker loader cycle times.

Both machines pictured are equipped with hydraulic quick attach.
