Cobbled up that setup to remove the head from that windmill. Worked like a champ. Had a bucket truck there so all I was lifting was the head and the workers were safely not on the tower. Pretty cool looking though huh!!!!

If you guys ever get the idea to tractor joust after seeing that I would throw the white flag

I built it to swap out the head on the windmill. Built this windvane with our 4-wheeling group logo on it. This pic is the boys seeing how high the bucket truck would go after the work was done. Kids.......

A friend cut it out for me on a CNC table. Could have maybe did it by hand. But what a time consuming method that would have been. In his case, it was done in about 30 minutes counting loading the picture in his computer and setting it up.

That is most deff the way to go for something like that, the precision of a CNC is almost unbeatable. My old neighbor has a small machine shop, family owned and ran business, they make gauges for mostly automotive companies, one example is a headlight would go into one and it would measure how pure the product is from defects, about 4 years ago they picked up a CNC machine and he said it was like hiring another employee with how efficient that thing is.

I have never played with one personally. . . Yet lol
