Hi guys,

I have finally found and purchased a Cozy Cab for my 430!!!!! (without instructions) and am wondering if you left the rubber "rear fender isolation mounts" in place when re-installing the the fender under the Cozy Cab?? or did you use something SOLID (washers, spacers, etc) in their place?

Reason I ask this, is that the tractor that it was removed from had a lot of cracks around the mount bolt holes on the rear fender pan. That tractor had the Rubber Mounts removed and had stacked SOLID washers go get back to correct height.

I'd like to avoid any cracks in my 430's fender, so any advice or insight you can give me (photos would be great!) is GREATLY APPRECIATED

Thanks in advance.

Not familiar with the cozy cab mounts.. but would think cozy cab frame solid to the tractor frame, without the rubber isolator mounts, would give the best results.

Yeah, I would have thought the same thing (NO RUBBER!), but the pan on the tractor the cab came off of had cracks at the front foot-well holes, the seat holes, AND the rear mount holes and it didn't have any of the rubber bits in place.

Could the cracks have happened before (or in lieu of) the cozy cab?

Will be interesting as you go forward, to see it mounted. Hope to see some pics of the mounting.

I never put one on a 430 but I did put one on a 322 and several 425's. I know they are different, but the newer models had rubber isolation mounts also. If yours are in good shape, I would put them in. They will take up some of the stresses between the cab and frame. Use locknuts and don't over torque them.

Be prepared, your fenders may crack also.
