Well....as way cool as this car is...it has the Cadillac CUE system and I swore until they put a volume knob back in their cars, I'd never buy another Cadillac. First gen
XTS was horrible. Car was nice, infotainment miserable. Form way over function. And the front is now a little too "snazzy" for me. Too "look at me". I'd rather have a sleeper. And ultimately, they cost over 80 grand optioned out. Way out of my league. I'd rather have my second tractor.
The V's supercharger whine is much louder than the whine on my Jag, but then it makes half again more power. Or more...
The insurance on that Cadillac must not be cheap either.

But please Randy, you get one, and c'mon down and give me a ride. Or, on my way to my friend's home in Milton DE, I'll stop on by.
You will have perfected your drifting techniques by then.

We had a tree getting big next to the shop and were getting concerned about damage to the shop and another small outbuilding during winter storms. My Dad parks his travel trailer at our house (plenty of room) in the driveway during the season and in the shop for off season. He wanted to save me from hurting myself so he contacted and paid for a company to come in and remove the tree... very simple job for them that would have been lots of work and risk for me. The chipper they had took 8-10" diameter pieces and just ate them. There was perhaps a dozen or so decent size limbs/branches and that chipped just made chips. They even ground the stump 6-8 below ground level. Really changed the look there..

Raining off and on, 50 today.

Good evening all. 72F this morning partly cloudy and windy this morning. Made it to 91F, wonder if Dallas set a record high temp today. Bike ride today, followed by remove, repair stuck derailleur, and replace. Also have some issues with garage door tracks, Think I have it adjusted now. Still need to take pics of truck:(, did get plates on first try :) .

A wet start to the day, the sound of the rain pounding on the roof made it all to easy to keep on snoozing the alarm clock, right until I reached the got to take the dog out limit.

My wife looked at me a little oddly when I asked if she had any nail varnish remover, then agreed (possibly somewhat relieved) to part with the bottle of acetone once I explained I only wanted to make up some of RNG's special rust penetrating potion.

Kyle, if we are having confession time again, then I should admit to having a mild addiction for wheel barrows. I just can't say no when someone offers me another. At the last count we had 4, although one of them is now terminally ill and is not expected to pull (or should that be push ?) through the winter. FEL with bucket is way better way for heavier things and longer distances, but it's still hard to beat a 'barrow for the little jobs, like bringing round the day's supply of firewood.

Drew, it sounds to me like you are right about it needing more bracing. Most metal framed barns I see have a diagonal brace in each plane at one end, to stop strong winds from buckling the building. On yours, that important triangle looks only to be formed by the profiled cladding which can flex and twist, which is probably why it deflects so much when you give it a push.

That's exactly what I was thinking also, Where's the diagonal bracing?
