Got these done this weekend.

I am remodeling a house my son bought. Built these kitchen cabinets and just finished spraying them with SW conversion varnish. Made a makeshift spray booth from one of those metal canopy structures that go on your deck. Used a good quality HVLP gun fro devilbiss, worked very well. Have to install hardware today.

Here's a quarter sawn, book matched, "black oak" hutch I built some time ago...

It's all solid wood, including the raised panels and top, the six drawers are dovetailed and all solid wood too...

I've been cleaning it up a bit, to move it into my living room to put the TV on.

I harvested the log I built it from, from out back in my wood lot.

Since I do things at the last minute I finish sanded and oiled 9 cutting boards. I gotta box them up at 7:00 in the morning.

You mention quite a few nice machines, puts me in mind of my friend I mentioned earlier, who's woodshop is his daily business/job.

No pictures... But i spent about an hour and a half in the barn tonight helping our oldest boy (15 yo) disassembling some pallets I brought home from work. He's salvaging the materials for shop class project at school.

I forgot to take a pic too, but helped my son build a combo workbench/dog kennel in his garage. He and fiancé just moved into their first home. The back of the garage already had a doggy door to the backyard. We built a nice bench along the back wall and extended it out a bit in the corner. Made a locking door accessible from the garage so his dog can come in from the yard and then be let into the garage/house when parents are home. Now that he has a house, he is suddenly interested in tools and DIY. Wish he wanted to pay attention growing up. Now I have to drive an hour to educate him.

11 skids sent out today, plus 20 some packages at the PO.

Not a commercial job - but shop time for sure. Building 2x8 trellis panels for the top of a 300ft fence.
