2006 Mahindra 4110 crankshaft?

Hello everyone! I'm hoping to have some good luck on this forum. I have a 2006 Mahindra 4110 (4 cylinder diesel). I had the number two cylinder bearing go bad and ruin the journal on the crank. Machine shop says they can turn it but nobody makes oversized bearings for this motor, so I'm left with replacing the crank with a new or used one. Does anyone have a connection to a used parts company? A new crank is over $4k. I'm hoping for a cheaper alternative.

Find a machine shop that can build up the journal, then turn it back to std. Check with the local truck shops, like IH or Cat and see where they get theirs done.

4k for a crank is crazy!!! I would think you could get a complete long block for less than that. I would definitely try to find a local machine shop that does machining on diesel engines to weld it up and turn it back down. I dont know if there are any shops in SA that do that but i know there are several in Houston. Just out of curiosity how many hours was on the engine and what lead up to this and did it give any indication that something was wrong?
